Gila's Light

Gila's Light was taken June 2016, in the Gila Wilderness, New Mexico.  The way the light poured onto the the canyon walls was even more beautiful than the landscape, if that's possible.  I began to call it the Gila Light and became obsessed with capturing it.  Walking along West Fork Gila River and stumbling into images like this I couldn't help but think about John 1:9, "The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world."
